Recently, the first award ceremony of "CarbonX Program" was held in Shenzhen, which is the first 100 million level funding program initiated by the Tencent of a technology company in CCUS (carbon capture, utilization and storage) field. Since the program was launched in March of this year, it has received widespread attention and positive response from the society, and the organizing committee has received more than 300 applications of projects. The project "ethylene glycol Transformative Carbon Reduction Production Technology" won the award in the "CarbonX Lab" Pilot Support Track and was selected as the first round in the excellent project list of "CarbonX Program", which was led by researcher Wang Yue of our C1 Chemistry & Technology Team, with deeply participation of associate researchers Wang Meiyan and Lv Jing, as well as cooperation with the Institute of Process Engineering of the Chinese Academy of Sciences.
